    Rims/Tire Sizes

So, I switched to a 2.3 from a 2.0 on my front and as I was pumping up the tube, the bead slipped out of the rim, blowing the tube.

My mtb jong question, do certain rims only accept certain widths or did I just not get the bead seated properly in the rim before I pumped it up?

Any MTB tube should fit any MTB rim. My guess is you just didn't have it in there properly, I've done that before.

scares the crap out of you don't it?

I was working in the shop and had one blow apart that i had set on the ground next to me five minutes before. I near shat myself.

Always check the bead seating after there is enough air in the tire to make it take shape, like 10-15 lbs.
    I love big dumps.
