Everytime the team is mentioned, it invariably comes up that they are sponsorless next year, having been dropped by the croissant makers.

Yeah, ummm, I'm a bit worried about Basso. He seemed to be in total control of that finish. Team is weak, but he hardly left his seat. Hope it rains here tomorrow so i can sit and watch without guilt.

By the way, this event is made for my DVR recorder - so damn easy to watch, in digital quality.

I listened to the audio this morning and just got finished watching the prime time coverage. What an amazing stage. Lance looked very solid, he shut down everyone except Basso. I don't think he was too worried about the stage win. It appears that Lance and Basso have developed an off bike relationship due to Basso's mother and it is likely Lance let him have the stage without much of a fight.

Jan, Tyler and Roberto should be embarassed, they are the main contenders and they can't even hang on, Hincapie dropped them. Tomorrow should be another great day of racing.
