hhaha! I knew it! Yup, one of the best of the season, if not the best, for sure. I didn't see the tracks off that rock on that exact day, but they were there a week later and I figured someone must have hit during the storm cycle.

Lots of big stuff went down during those few days. I believe Big Jims was hit on the Friday of that storm cycle too.

Britney -- yeah you can expect a fistful of us at the Kirkwood showing. First day of the season! almost 1 month almost 1 month almost 1 month almost 1 month almost 1 month almost 1 month almost 1 month almost 1 month almost 1 month almost 1 month

so do you expect that the wood will actually open on the 22? how much snowmaking are they capable of? [i usually ski north shore, but for kirkwood i'll make an occasional exception!] looks awfully dry up there right now...

    Ya just gotta believe

They have enough snowmaking to open up at least Zach's or Sentinel top to bottom. I'll be there even if that's all they got and its all glacial blue ice. Be the best turns in 4-5 months!

I think that it's safe to assume that there will be one or two of us at the Kirkwood showing.

no way they will open the 22nd, it is still 70's during the day and not even that cold at night. forget about indian summer, we are still in regular summer. i wouldn't be suprised if it didn't snow at all till january.

(please let this anti-jinx work, I am sick of mtn biking).

A sunday only trip would work for me. I've got to be at work on Monday morning, but a oneday trip would work.

I'll drop you an email shortly.

    Shameless Bump

Bump- cause this is the shameless thread after all.
By the way I hope to see most of you at the K-wood show. I sure as hell know I'll be there.
