I am looking to work for a ski area somewhere in SLC/PC this winter. I was curious which resort is the best to work for. This includes, Skiing time/benifits, pay and overall attitude of the employer.
Thanks

The important thing isn't really which resort(aside from the terrain which is obvious), it's more which position allows you to ski more. I imagine being a lifty at P.C., Alta, and Solitude is pretty similar regarding pay and ski time.
snowbird kind of sucks to work for but has one of the sweetest mountains, park city's pretty good to work for as far as perks go, but unless your a full time park rat the mountain's not that sweet...just a general summary of my opinion.
ps-i don't have any experience @ Alta, but imagine that would be pretty damn sweet
Yah, depends on the job. Shop job at the canyons, you'll get lots of time on the mountain. Problem is it's a minimum of an hour to get one halfway decent run cause of the horrible lift layout. The evil empire of ASC isn't the best place in the world to work......but if yer in PC, it's the only resort that offers BC access gates if that matters to you. If you work at any of the Park City area resorts you get a "Triple Play" ticket (1-2 per week depending on your work status) that allows you to ride at any of the other two resorts that you don't work at.
