I will now be voting for the other candidate (until, he makes an even worser mistake). Shame on you young man.
any symbologist will tell you that eels represent the phalice or fertility. In the context of the film they represent Ariel's dark desire to be deflowered by a drugged seamonkey.

i do not share this with you in hopes to sway your precious vote, only for your personal edification.

plus two for symbologist and phalice

I like to read. I love to read Hemingway he's good shit. What got me into reading was "A Clockwork Orange". It's just a matter of finding what you like to read. One thing i've noticed is the average high school students have sub-par reading levels. They have a hard time understanding what they read. Which makes reading gay to them.

35 on English ACT, 32 on Reading (or maybe the other way around, I don't know). Comprehension is not the problem. Frustration with being over-analytical is. I just don't agree about literature's being intended to inspire "some hidden message." I think literature is meant to tell a story and to expand the extent of communication, i.e. giving people more words to use in order to be more descriptive. I am not posting about this again because arguing this nonsense gets us nowhere. Except that now you all know what I think and almost definitely could not care less.

P.S. No attempt to nullify your remarks, basom, but I am strongly opposed to the existence of symbologists. They just make me mad...

P.P.S. I guess it's kinda ironic that I like convoluted movies...

Math is only valid when there is adding going on. We don't have a sum, we just have factors (or the additive equivalent thereof... I forget 7th grade math).

Who would have thought you could learn so much about the three R's from skiing ?

    Just kidding. Carry on.
