gasp , i'm posting this on both boards.

I just saw it last night. i hated how much boarding there was in the beginning. just a ton of it which made me bored and wanna leave. then the skiing came....and totally redeemed itself. some sweet lines and cliffs dropped. quite a big of freeheeling goin on too. this is one of the better films i've seen from a small company. and after seeing poorboyz and matchsticks shows just minutes prior, it was fackin awesome not to see a damn person slide a rail or hit a big kicker in a terrain park. i mean, i can only watch so much jibbing in one night before it all blends into the same thing in my head. i like the place they went at the end, but once again, it was boarders doing it which didn't spark my interest. i'm not really sure if i'd wanna buy this or not. i didn't think they used too many effects either.

Watched it last night. I think it is a really solid movie. Those guys kill it, it's amazing to see all the talent out there besides the athletes covered in mags and the big movies. To compare it to TGR or MSP is kinda dumb, I think. You gotta understand the equipment and budget involved just don't compare. If you notice in the credits, most of the riders are also doing camera work. I gotta give a shout out to the WA crew represent. Joel Tate, Josh Pope, and Megan McGrath all making strong showings. Joel is still crazy as fuck, the same as when I skied with him about four years ago at Alpental (he's a damn good skier). I think it was a great movie, one I would buy. It gets a bit slow at the end with the mountaineering/skiing stuff, but it's cut in at the end, so you don't have to watch it every time you pop it in the player.
