Well, I made it a few weeks before biting it. As you may recall I have delved into the wonderful world of houst painting:

Today I decided to try and scale a window frame onto an intermediate roof that was about 15 feet off the ground. I figured shingles would make good enough handholds.
Ineveitablly I botched the final moves and began hurtling, inverted, towards the ground. Fortunatlly half way down, my fall was broken by a homemade scaffolding plank, which I cuaght the corner of across my back. After which I careened the remaining distance into a plush 2 inches of ivy over rock hard ground.
It feels like someone hit me in the back with a baseball bat and then took a belt sander to it. I've got a mark the size of montana below my shoulder blades. And I definitlly deserve it.
