I'm sorry as I didn't have time to read through everything on the site, but what do the profits of the film go towards? I did watch the trailer and it's sadly all too much like what we have going on in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan with Kennecott Minerals looking to open a sulfide mine in the Lake Superior watershed.

Isn't Kennecott the same outfit that has the huge mine in Utah?

I think I heard somewhere that it is the only open pit mine viewable from the space station.

They very well could be. They are owned by Rio Tinto. Kennecott is proposing a mine at the headwaters of the Salmon-Trout River in northern Michigan. It's a big old shit storm up here with a lot of heated discussion. There's a lot of press about it so I won't go into details, but if you did a Google search on it you could definitely find a lot. It's called the Eagle Project. How majestic!!
