I am fully aware that this is not the place to pick on other people's skiing, but in that picture it looks like you've dropped your hands a bit, that has shifted your weight into a little back-seat steeze, and that's why you're not driving the tips and keeping them in better contact with the snow. Just an FYI because of the "for some reason" comment.
I was trying to impress a rhythmic gymnast I'd just met.
thought i would join in the fun. here is me july 4th 2005 at the bird closing day. guinea pigged a new jump and over rotated the back flip by a long shot. this is pre-impact, shattered t4 vertabrae with the look of doom on my face. all in all a learning experience, no permanent damage done but a 1/2" shorter now.
