    Just be warned...

On board smaller vessels, the crew will eat, relax, and sleep with very little privacy. Toilet facilities on some vessels can be either non-existent or somewhat exposed to other crew members, while on others there is a shower and toilet for individual use. If privacy is important, a would-be crewmember should ask about these facilities.

Commercial fishing is one of the most dangerous occupations in the United States. The possibility of injury is ever present in every aspect of the work. The lack of medical assistance in the event of injury or illness increases the hazard

Just watch "a perfect storm" and see that huge hook go through the guys hand, sheesh. I prefer doing contract web site work, to getting sliced in half by a cable on a fishin boat.

However you can get good hook-ups in alaska working on the boats or canning. I met a guy who did a fucking disgusting job at a cannery in AK for a summer, he made good money but said he was miserable everyday for 4 months.

Benny, I had that gig. Livin in B-town/Jeff and bartending at Smuggs. I think the best move if you're gonna sling drinks in a ski town is to work the apree/happy hour shift. You'll get home a little earlier and more coug action.

How about the potential of missing 5-10 seasons, and becoming buttski buddies with your cell mate.

I'll smoke jump or rap-attack or initial attack but not gonna be ground crew. I think I prefer planting.
To get to the smokejumper or rap-attack crews you are probably going to have to do at least a year on a hotshot crew, or make a hell of an impression on somebody. And, they dig trenches too.

son of a bitch... why can't they just let rappel out the chopper the first day. Damn those prerequisits. Yo gotta plan so far ahead and that implies that you have a plan.

For now found the plan : Iran's the plan, Then we'll see. You got hook up on a crew ?
