damn, what a loss. still my favorite episode of top gear to this day is when Sabine takes a panel van around the Nurburgring in just about ten minutes. incredible talent.

Has anyone watched the latest rendition of Top Gear America? The one only available on Motortrend?

I’m big fan of Rob Corddry and I find Dax Shepard’s podcast entertaining... but I haven’t tuned in yet... just not willing to sign up for yet another streaming subscription....

I watched the first few episodes. It's aight, I wouldn't pay for the on demand just for that though. I'd rather watch reruns of the old Top Gear BBC

The first few episodes were just... ok. It's clearly scripted as fuck and the guys have a hard time being natural. FWIW the subscription is cheap as fuck and there's a ton of content. I wouldn't shell out for just TGA though, not worth it.

Courdry is actually pretty blah, the random guy seems alright and calls himself "the guy you don't know", and Dax's airbrush depiction of himself was awesome.

Its definitely a work in progress, but it is already better than anything with smarmy rich kid Tanner Foust in it, so automatic win.

Motortrend app is like 5 bucks a month, gets you every top gear, along with Roadkill Garage, Dirt Every Day, and Hot Rod Garage, each of which is pretty damn good if you ask me as an original program. I really dig Lucky Costa on HRG as that guy really has the mechanical chops and him and Tony really get along well together. Same with Dulcich and Freiberger and Fred and Dave on DED.

I really cant stand the American version but they are filming a piece at our little airport in pburg right meow. Rumor is they'll be doing something at the bar later...maybe I should go get drunk and talk shit to Dax.

    Isn't he on the wagon?

I'd suggest drinking heavily with Corddry.

    You may have better luck.

Bonus if you call him Violator a lot.

Yeah I have no idea about the guys levels of sobriety. I actually like corddy and dont mind Dax but just cant handle the American version. If I go make a fool of myself I'll report back.

Anyone watch Clarkson’s Farm? Went in pretty skeptical, but really enjoyed it. Not as silly as GT, but still funny with a little bit of humility from Clarkson.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

I think we're on episode 4. I never thought I'd say this, but I'd love to work fo Clarkson. He seemed like a bit if a brash asshole during the TG days, maybe he's mellowed out?

This looks fantastic. Just what the doctor ordered.

(another vote for Clarkson's Farm too - and man, if I can say, his girlfriend is a terribly attractive woman at any age)

UK Top Gear this fall looks like it might be interesting.

Where are you watching that? Other than a VPN, I haven't been able to find it.

    Me too.

AMC+ was showing the last season. Occasionally you can find them on YouTube before they get taken down.

Hulu as well and some weird ATT WatchTV service I get with my AT&T phone service that streams BBC. Only reason I ever open the app on the tv.

"After what happened in Argentina I can no longer sweat."

There goes Clarkson's chance of a knighthood.
