    Thumbs up

I've heard that they set a single day rainfall record in Victoria today. The Vancouver radio is telling of flodding here there and everywhere. It is pissing rain in the Kootenays with the snow line at about 3500'. Finally we are getting some needed precip. I drove my truck to about 5500' hunting last weekend and was depressed by the lack of snow.

It's pissing out and I am loving it!!!!

It's pissing hardcore in Vancouver. Now we just need it to get a little colder. I'm STILL at work. I love 13 hour days......IT sucks.

The weather forecast is not rosy for Coastal B.C. and the Washington Cascades. This is a nice strong storm coming in, but it's a damn warm front! All that precip is going to be liquid. It's still over 60 degree F here in Seattle at 9:00 p.m.

Yep, it looks like that freezing level is going to be too high for this snow to last. I noticed yesterday morning's (Thursday's) Baker snowreport had it snowing, but it was already 32F. (Just waiting for sunrise to check the various Rockies web cams and see what's happening.)

But a good sign for the early season. Another two weeks and it will be cold enough for the rain to become snow. Imagine if all that coastal rain had been coming down as snow.

Looks pretty right now, sucks that the temps are going up 16 today and 19 tomorrow, though.

That's 61 and 66 for you non-metric folks, feels like rain, eh.
