Level 1 avie course needed

Anyone know of an AMGA approved avalanche course in the Tahoe region or for that matter anywhere in the Western US that is running in late fall/early winter. I need to find a course the will finish before the 9th of December (I return to Europe on the 10th).

I would also like to find a level 2 course as well. But can wait till January for this.

If there isn't any around. Anyone else fancy doing one? I think we need 4 people to make a private course financially viable?

Level 2 course would work - I've been helping teach the HAT (Henry's avalanche talk) program in europe so level 1 isn't mandatory for what I need.

if you really study on your own, follow it up with digging in the snow and seeing what it is the book talks about, and practicing with your gear, you could go straight into a LVL2 just fine.
