The Nugget is out of town to the east on I-80. The Silver Legacy is right downtown. They are not walkable, and cabs are expensive. There are usually free shuttles to the casinos from the airport, which you can use as a taxi service if you pretend you are staying there.
Thanks for the info -sorry I was too lazy/busy to do that on my own, but I knew some Maggette would pull through for me.
I'll probably just catch a cab.
Dad is great. Fully recovered and back to his regular routine of running, kayaking, and whatever else he does. He was diagnosed with an intestinal bug after his blood work came back, which is probably what precipitated his rapid and unexpected decline into dehydration and general illness in the field.

No problem - tracking down info is a huge part of my job. At any one time I have two or more browses open. That was a very easy and quick thing for me to look up.
Glad your Dad is back on his feet!

Sounds like a plan. Friday night (the 6th) would be good. I'm done at my conference at around 8:00ish and I fly out to SLC Saturday afternoon to catch the TGR show in Park City.
