    Handlebars wtf?

    So up until this point:

    I never thought about handlebars.

Atleast these broke when I was adjusting the suspension instead of during a ride. Suggestions for new bars? Good value is key, not necesarily the cheapest.

I was reading a thread on mtbr a couple months ago about catastrophic handlebar failure. They said that especially for longer bars, especially for riders who are out of the saddle alot, whenever the bars show any scoring or fatigue at all in the stem or bend areas, its time to replace.

I do ride out of the saddle alot and I ride pretty hard. But I have only had the bike for the summer and only weigh 165. Hadn't noticed any scoring or fatigue but I didn't inspect the bars either.
