Yup, same jig for all Axial bindings, regardless of the lift installed. Lifters simply have longer screws. The convention heel models share the toe hole locations but differ in the heels.

If you're concerned about risers, try the ski with the system you bought. You can always get more or less riser and screw the new plates on without redrilling.

As fer integrated binding system: The goals of most integrated systems, in my mind, is to reduce the time and skill it takes to correctly set up a ski; and to "lead" you into buying more products from the same manufacturer.

The Motion system is almost identical to the Marker demo system. The issue I have with the Motion system is that foreward pressure is very seldom correct; the ajustments are too course and usually you're left with too little or too much force.

The Pilot system seems to allow full-flexing of the ski, although the skis its comes with are generally softer-flexing anyways. For all the marketing against it, stiffness under foot generally leads to a more solid-feeling ski. Anyone who has skiied on the first generation Crossmax and compared it to the current Crossmax can feel how the ski has been stiffened in response to this effect.

    Thumbs down

The scene: avalanche basin, crystal mountain, 17 inches of new today on top of 12 the day before. I was third or fourth up the throne and all of the untouched in the basin is practically making me salivate. I pick a line with a slightly off camber entrace. Jump in. Downhill ski pops clean of on landing (all of 3 feet of air) Ski proceeds to scream down the whole length of the basin. I had to glissade/stumble down to pick it up, thus jacking up a good line for everyone else in the process.

Ski: Atomic 10.EX. Binding: Marker Comp 1400s, DIN 2 settings too high for my weight.

    You've been warned.

(btw. I never skied that ski or binding on a pow day again.)
