Anybody going? Doubleday Field, one block from the Hall of Fame. How friggin' American can you get.

Wow. That's nuts! I'd consider going to that.

THIS IS AN ALCOHOL/DRUG FREE EVENT. Sorry but there will be a search at the entrances to the field.

The Cooperstown Fire Department will be selling hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks throughout the evening.

Not for Willie. No way. Might catch him at the hot dog stand, though.

Just found these pictures of the venue. Very cool. Probably can't fit more than a few thousand in there. I ordered two tickets.

That was really cool. Willie was kinda neat, you know, American character, old country stoner, great beer drinking music (although the place was dry).

But, good god, Dylan was hot. Jezuz, his band rocks. I had heard he assembled a great band a while ago, but, take it from Benny, it's one of the best I've ever seen. 80% hard, serious, balls to the wall rock and roll, and when he slowed down, it was just as cool. And I don't want to hear shit about the voice ever again. That singing stayed above, below, and right on the groove of that double guitar sound. Bluesy, raspy, soulful, silly and sweet. Do yourself a favor and see these guys. You will not witness an old guy just marking time.

And check out Cooperstown some time if you're a baseball fan / roadie geek, lover of beautiful small cities in the East like me. Just try to avoid July and August - it will cost you.
