Combination biked and hiked up alpine springs and halfway up high alpine to the Baby Ruth chutes. Funny how runs can look infinitely steeper without snow. Slid down thru the rockslide paths and over to the Baby Ruth cliffs. No ski in the LZ. Scuttle up to the LZ and looked down. There it was about 100 ft. below, stuck between two boulders like an arrow with the tail sticking up in the air. The fugly yellow topsheet never looked so good. Amazing how the ski had either run deep in a rotten layer or crept downhill with the melting snow pack.
