    summer hummer

Jeezus, I don't know what to make of this. This is the email I got from high school (fundraising people) today. Pretty embarassing, if you ask me.
    I'm removing identifying names...

Dex, your choice of educational institution sure covers a wide range of religions. You ever think of going to BYU? They say threes a charm...

I almost didn't post it, but since it brought extaski back to the board, it was definitely worth it.

I can't see ice's link for some reason, but I can see the address line, and it has something to do with Gilmour? Wrong school in Gates Mills I think (Gilmour sucked). It's a Catholic school? Which explains cantdog's post? I was trying to figure out what the religion of the hummer would be (hedonism, maybe).

I did, as a sophomore, get high one night at Gilmour, hiding under a pine tree during a dance. Bong was a Coke can, as I recall.

    Summer Hummer

6 oz thawed frozen lemonade concentrate
    750 ml Pimm's No. 1
    24 oz cold water
    12 oz spiced rum
    10 lemon slices

Combine all ingredients except lemon slices in a pitcher that holds at least 75 ounces; stir well. Can be served immediately or covered and refrigerated until ready to serve. Fill 10-ounce wine glasses or tall glasses three-quarters full with ice cubes. Add drink mixture; garnish with a lemon slice hooked over the glass rim. (Makes 10 six-and-a-half-ounce servings.)

Yeah, the link was for Gilmour, which is in fact a Catholic school.

Odd you can't see it, though.

    southern comfort = bourbon
    pimms = gin

Close, but that's still Gilmour. Wrong school, right suburb. Maybe some of them saw me smoking up under that tree way back in the 80's.
That's the school that called the cops on us during our senior festivities and had 95 of 102 seniors detained for several hours.

I knew I shouldn't have posted this. You guys spend too much time Googling.
So, yes, Hawken is the school that's all about hummers.
Not so much when I was there, though.
    Unfortunately.
