hey.....what cliff is this? I'm trying to place it by the scenery in the background. And that doesn't look like your normal KW volcanic crap rock. kodak maybe?

EDIT: nah landing looks too steep for Kodak. shit maybe it's from Alpine or squaw or somewhere

See, I don't even know where the fuck Kodak is.

Ty, my first guess was the rock over Olympic. But that doesn't look right. The only thing I can think of would be something out in the Palisades. Then the mountains in the background make sense. Or wait, could that be the backside of Vista? Hmmmm....

sure you do...Kodak is the highest point off that line of cliffs that's inbounds at the bottom of the Cirque. Sometimes called Blue Ice Cliffs.

OffAxis: Well, I ordered with pmans group, the account was charged on the 22nd of sept, and they haven't shown. I'm gonna call him on friday if they don't show.

Nater: It's only nut 10 and psy 1, and as long as I graduate in dec, the parents haven no more hold on me.

Shoe: The background is consistent w/ palasades, perhaps near maggot rock?

I think the mystery pic is from somewhere above the normal palisades traverse. Probably near the pillars.

hahahaha....whereTF is maggot rock!? That's the problem with this place, there's like 10 million names every rock and crevice. It does look like Palisades though.

I first though Kodak though 'cause those trees in the background could be the bottom of Eagle Bowl...and the 'canyon' or whatever in the background could be the red cliffs area. ah crap I dunno...

The trees below are proably the mighty mountain beginner area.

And I'd tell you where maggot rock is, but you know stash rule #1...

Well, I was late getting the payment info in, and he proably ran out of 190 sploders, and is waiting for more. Either way, all I could do with them right now is slobber on them.

Ahhhhh...I see says the blind man.

Oh and DJ, if it makes you feel any better, I haven't gotten mine either. I emailed him a while back and they were supposed to ship last Monday (the 6th)... If it were snowing I'd be a little impatient right now, but we have time. Still wouldn't hurt to check up on this.

And while we're on this topic...

AHAHA!!!! Mighty Mountain!!! Noooow I think i got it! i dunno if you're 'maggot' rock is what I'm thinking though...

I'm thinking "oops extra"...down below sentinel bowl. turn skiers left into trees at the bottom. You gotta land and be ready to straightline in through some trees immediately. It's very close to where splat took that picture of me silhoutted against the sky last year. the high traverse leading back from the Palisades to Chair 6 is right below it. Do you know where I mean? Are you pickin up what I'm putting down?

What, Mr. Quiver? I thought you had Explosives! And even if you don't you have the rest of the Volk line up, right?

I know what you're talkin about mang, but maggot rock (as named by splat) is on the 2nd or 3rd ridge on the traverse out toward palasades. It's where Nater took some pics a while back.

From the looks of the pic, I think fairly low on the mountain, somewhere where you can almost see lift 7.

Oh come on guys it's so simple. I think you need a refresher course. It's all ball bearings nowadays.

I know what you're talkin' about. Naturally I had no idea that was maggot rock.

Mr. Quiver? That's Walter. I merely aspire to reach his greatness. Also, until those explosivs arrive my Volkl lineup will be incomplete...except for the Sanouks and a pair of P60s, and... and... Igggggggyyyyyyssss... mmmmm... Ooops. Sorry, I lost myself for a second there.

yes yes yes....I'm reeelly thinkin its in oops extra area now. Just 'cause that is indeed fairly low on the mountain, and as soon as you stick it, you then cruise through the trees, hit the little traverse, and then BOOM you're cruising right underneath Chair 7. We will hit it opening day

Oops extra, the ridge skiers left of the cave below sentinel? Yes? If so, we're thinkin the same spot, though this isn't maggot rock.

edit: damn, nater took the pics down

Arty, you're a nut, and I got the same bug you do. I swear I think about pulling the trigger on another pair of skis every other day. Fortunately, I hold off most of the time. Right now I have a beginner's quiver of some Candides, R:EX and Explosives. Now just to pick up some Gotamas, Sugar D., AX4s, Super Nobis...

We are veeery close.....no not, skier's left of the cave. Go right over the top of the cave along the ridge and it will dead end in this cliff....basically.

alrighty....time to hit the sack. laters.

CRAP! So close. Oh well, I'm not qualified to be a k-wood maggot guide yet.
