    EC maggot water ramp day?

    OK
Lets try and get something going here! i was thinking sometime in mid-july, during the week I hope. Perhaps the 2nd or 3rd week, preferably the 3rd (since my bday is the 18th and I will be how you say of age) So what say you east coast guys? Anyone from NJ or NYC up for a road trip? Since it would be cool to split gas with someone since I’m poor as hell.

    july 14-15 or maybe 21-22?????

    I'm there.
    Are those weekends?
I figure my knee will be good for the ramps by then. Should be fun, and funny.

Well, I may still be able to do it. But can you make it over at least on weekend day for those weeks? That might make it easier for a lot of people to do it.

They say a life jacket is required. Do you think I could get away with using water wings?

Hmmm. Weekends in general are bad for me. But I know a lot of people in the Lake Placid area, and if anyone is up for a midweek trip, I'd be game. I actually have a wedding in Glens Falls on the 25th, so perhaps that week...

    This looks GREAT!

So for beginners, you can just practice jumps off little kickers? What about equipment? I know they said helmets, but what kind of skis are we talking about? The prices seem pretty good.

I doubt I can do it this summer...my vaca days are spent. But maybe for next year. I didn't even know they had this in our neck of the woods. Thanks for posting!

Just talked to them and they had something wrong on the website that they are fixing now.......

It is $15 a day usage fee, but you need a coach either one of thiers or a freestyle coach. (like a resorts or teams that has insurance) So if you know someone you're golden if not it is $40 a day for a coach there per-person...........damn it

So if we can find someone to wear a whistle and a baseball hat and call themselves "Coach" do we need to pay the $40?

I could be down. I was planning on going up once I was back at UVM, but I could go for some summer water ramping!

I may be down, but $40 isn't cheap. It'd have to be a weekend too.

Call me Stacy Hatch, and call me there.

I'm in Philly until the 10th, but have the next 2 weekends open.

I know someone who trains up there all summer with his freestyle team, if there would be a way for his coach to cover us ill post. The reason for needing a coach is that the place doesn't want resposibility if you get hurt, so the coach need insurance. (kind of hard to sue a coach, since he can't "make" you do anything wrong...........)
