I happen to have a few rabbits in my clover-rich back yard.
My kids love them. They're nice little props. Anyway, last summer it got sort of dicey.
My daughter and I were coming out into the yard to play. I'm in front of her.
As I near the garage, I notice a disturbing sight. On the chain link fence lining my neighbor's back yard, I see one of the rabbits, gutted,
body split wide open, dangling with the head stuck on top of one of the fence posts.
I quickly herded the girl back inside before she saw the sight and was able to dislodge the carcass into the bushes. As I went back in the house, I noticed a hawk come out of the trees, land on the fence looking for it's half eaten meal.
So, you could always get a hawk?
