Roll Call Skeggs this week (6/23 or 24)

Calling Spats, WSD, nightpanda (got your PM) and anyone else.

Anyone up for a Skegg's ride at 6pm Wed or Thurs?

(Edit- found this list on the website. Someone posted their picks
    1) Resolution (either way)
Resolution trail is a phenomenal trail either way you ride it. Ride it downhill and see how fast you can go. Ride it uphill and see how long you can stay in the middle ring.
    2) North Leaf Trail (downhill)
Riding North Leaf Trail downhill is a three minute chute ride down twisty, rutted singletrack. More fun than a barrel of monkeys.
3)El Corte de Madera Creek Trail (either way)
    Buffed, bermed singletrack.
    4) Blue Blossom Trail (Downhill)
Challenging, fast trail with some drop offs and a STEEP downhill section at then end.
    5) Giant Salamander Trail (Downhill)
Pick your line carefully on this trail at the top. If you get too much speed you can be in deep sh*t when you get to the rutted section. The bottom section has nice berms just before you get to the bottom. (Ride uphill without stopping for a good challenge.)
    6) South Leaf Trail (Downhill)
The most technical singletrack in all of ECDM OSP. Narrow and challenging. (Don't ride uphill unless you like pushing your bike up unridable sections.)
    7) Manzanita Trail (Either way)
Ride down Manzanita you'll wish you had more suspension. Ride uphill for a awesome aerobic and body english challenge.
    8) Steam Donkey Trail (Downhill)
STEEP trail where how fast you go depends on how big your balls are.
    9) Crosscut trail (either way)
Nice and flat, but too short. These are my favorite trails at my favorite riding place. )

heh - I'll be so far behind these guys we won't be in the same picture. Seriously wondering if I'm going to be able to keep up tonight....I've only been on one ride since I've gotten the green light to be back on a bike, and it sure as well wasn't at Skegg's. Should be some good comedy tonight!

let's plan on Alice's restaurant or the Mountain Inn afterwards...

Arty - wish you were going to be there!

What a sandbagger. She's been riding a trainer the last few months. Yes, it may not be like getting out there for real, but it's still doing something. And this slow thing doesn't have me fooled. Everytime we've ever hit a section with a downgrade, you've become a dot on the horizon.

Pu, get thyself a cameback and your pocket troubles are solved.

Get after it everyone! Maybe I'll see you in a week or so.

My bike is done except they haven't gotten the stupid tires in yet! Arrrrrggggghhhhh!!!!!

pffft. you expect me to buy this "Waaah! I can't ride without TIRES" bit? Whatever. A real man would go tireless .

Seriously - any chance you'll be back in the Bay any time soon? Would love to ride together again. I'll be up in Tahoe for the 4th also....

I go tireless all the time. Namely, when I'm walking down Toad's or Dardanelles.

As for coming to the Bay Area, this thread inspired me earlier. I'm thinking of hitting a Tuesday TeSCAbel (don't know which damn letters to capitalize) ride, hitting up the Endinburgh Castle afterwards for some drunken karaoke debauchery, and then maybe doing a Wed/Thurs ride with the Skeggs crew. Possibly next week or the week after. Maybe I can even try to surf again. Does anyone have a wetsuit I can borrow, size XXXXXL...in black of course?

What D said. Those are quality trails. Need to get our speed up so we can do some more before dark.

Of course the first thing you do when riding with someone rehabbing a shoulder injury is take them down Manzanita (known as 'Jackhammer'). Welcome back, M.

Fun stuff. Not sure I'll be able to walk today . But damn it feels good to be back in the saddle again!

I'm up for next Thursday - should be able to get there by 6. I'm bringing my night light next time!
