    Question Online Trading

Who uses what and what do they like?

Im using scottrade, and im happy with the website, trade execution, java programs, research reports, and pretty much everything, except for the fact I dont have the ability to sell Puts.
(no im not looking for a lecture on the risk of selling puts)

Im fairly certain Ameritrade, ETrade, and Schwab? all allow this and have the same 7$ commissions.

    Anyone have input on these?

Do any of these online trading services feature advanced options data such as listing weighted and unweighted P/C Ratios, HV / IV data and analysis, and options volume charts?
If so, is this included in the standard commission or is it an extra fee per month?

Trade some, just can't add much as I too use scottrade (albeit not very well). Don't trade options anymore. A couple friends who do like Schawb.

Golden Beneficial securities. They go through a company called Penson but they do .01/share trades, margin, shorts, I am not sure about the option stuff. they cater more to full time guys and try to set them up with their software and data stream, but you can do a basic account, I think with a 5k minimum, and it is dirt cheap to trade. You have to do most of your research though somewhere different, but you get "real time" market feed using your refresh option. Good stuff, small company out of Texas. The penny/share thing makes even small swing trades doable.

stockcharts.com has really reasonable subscriptions for charting, tech indicators, saved overlays etc. You can do quite a bit for free as well.
