    Rec's for skiing the WInds this late?

    Curious as we will be heading up there just before the 4th and wanting to ski and climb...but would really like to ski!

    I know Fremont Glacier will have some stuff but that seems pretty far..25 miles away from the closest road.

    good luck. its melting fast, but still freezing at night.
    bring your industrial deet, cuz the skeeters are gonna be wicked bad this summer.

    Call the Pinedale Ranger Station before you go & ask us the same question you asked us - hopefully they'll be able to give you a good heads-up on trail conditions and whatnot. Stopping into the office & picking up a map might be a good idea too.
