i think i'd prefer something a little lighter than the 916s on those, as they will be my more jib-oriented skis.

You will find a deep and binding relationship.

Either should fit without a plate.

    werd?

you mean by pulling off the atomic plate and mount directly to the ski? no voids in there to wory about? any consideratiopn for boot size (i.e. i have pretty big dogs)

i know people have done this, and i'm not too woried about the warantee issue because i practicly stole the skis, but doesnt the ski loose some stiffness through the middle of the ski when removing the plate?

I skied a pair mounted a little forward with Rossi 140's @ 304mm boot sole.

The were slightly softer than mine with the plate, but they turned much quicker and easier and were a ton lighter.

Putting any holes in the Big Daddies voids the warranty. Safest bet might be getting a plastic plate of some sort, drilling into the original binding pattern with the new plate, then putting the bindings into the plate, not the ski. Telemark Pyrenees does it. Then you can always slap the original binding plate on there if you need to warranty it.
