Yeah, the Nutmeghan. She seems right as rain this morning but my concern is her having another incident like last night where she suddenly started keening and writhing and what to do for her. I guess it was a kind of seizure? HATE when animals are ill!

Eating, no pain on palpation, and running are good signs. Her behavior in the middle of the night is a little troubling but perhaps she was reacting to a contusion (bruising) and fear. But there's some danger of an internal injury. I'd monitor her closely for a day or two (why do they always do this on a weekend?), and keep palpating her all over to look for a reaction to pain. You might check her stools and urine if possible for blood. If there's no further sign of pain or change in her mentation (like fogginess) and her eyes stay clear then she's probably good, and likely to have just bruised and scared herself.

If her reaction to palpation or her mentation changes or she stops eating or there are any new symptoms (like vomiting) I'd go to the vet ASAP.

    I'm just a dentist/EMT.

Thanks! Yeah... why is it always the weekend? I'm not afraid of making that emergency call (have made it at 3am before) but still would be easier if these things happened (if they must) during regular working hours.

She is enjoying a nap in the sun right now.

Sorry to hear of the kitty crash; I'll echo our local KEMT expert advise.

New family members around 3 months old; from one of the more reasonable local rescues

Pantswad* rages atomic kitty style, skidding, crashing, nosing into everything.

Mr. Lounge* knows how to relax, enjoy and bask in the moment.

Sounds more like Sativa (Haze) and Indica (Kush)

    Thanks!

I'm not sure they're much Russian Blue, but after having the rug yanked out from under us by a number of shelters, I'm taking my chances with these.
They are a little more mellow and shy than some kittens which is one of the RB traits, but they have a long way to go.

Found little kitty by the hotel we are staying in Myrtle Beach.
    Been feeding her every night.
So nice to feed an animal again.

It was hard to say good bye to her.
But sounds like she’s well loved and taken care by the hotel staff and guests.
Good to know she was in good hands.
    Hope to see her again.

I've had two grey (blue) cats. The best! Quiet, clean, gentle. Good picture.

Cat portrait. In cat’s world, there are no country borders. Every cats live in peace. Variety colors of eyes and hair make their world rich.
