Had a black cat “Tom”. Would follow me around the block to the grocery store. Jumped the hedges between yards as I walked the sidewalk(bit of a show off/male), then wait in the bush on the corner while I get groceries. Repeat the hedge jumps back to the house. All the neighbors knew him, figyred he owned the block

It's not his first rodeo with the coons and he is relatively unharmed this time compared to previous incidents, just a long laceration on top of his melon. I'll keep the rabbies thing in mind if I see any change in behavior though.
He got fat and slow this past year but he used to go after them on a weekly basis and get beat up pretty bad at least twice per winter. He just doesn't learn. I tried keeping in inside and he spent a whole day removing all of the insulation around the kitty door then meowed for 24 hours straight. He will not be confined...
