Saw the stray today, Mr Socks, after more than three weeks.

Haven't see Gandalf for some time. New stray - big black fluffy thing - is gonna get trapped and fixed this next week.

Ugh.... I'm living in a cat house!

Misjudged the kitten's age or nature decided to speed things up - Meghan came into heat on Saturday. I have an appointment to get everyone fixed next Monday but until then it's a bit of a nightmare. Meghan is miserable, the boys are pacing and I'm having to juggle between cats locked in the laundry room and the bath. Oy vey!

At least they are young and inexperienced so they are not aggressive. For the most part they are behaving with no howling (so far).

It's actually not that bad. The boys are a bit confused by her behavior but they are starting to catch on still, I can bark their name and they run away from her. It's actually kind of funny - she will sidle up to them and they run away because they know I'm going to yell at them. Distracting/calming them with catnip has helped too but yeah, counting the days until the morning of the 29th when they all go in to get snipped!

I have Meghan in a small carrier on the table with me right now - she's having a bath and seems perfectly happy. The boys are running around having their fun too.

Not sure what you're saying but yes, if a cat is pregnant and you don't want it to go to term you can have them spayed.

Ah, gotcha. Yeah because I have the appt. and it's only 6 days away I'm not particularly freaked out about it still I'd rather they didn't mate so I'm keeping them apart at night and when she's particularly frisky. It comes and goes in waves with her. Right now she's out again running around and playing with no signs of displaying for the boys but probably within the next hour she'll start up again and I'll either put her in the crate next to me/put her in her room or put the boys in their room. It's a bit of a hassle but easily enough dealt with.

The rooms they are in at night are separated by a pass-through louvered door so they can hear and smell each other which I think is nice for Meghan so she doesn't feel too isolated seeing as how up until last Saturday they we all together at night. Just another of life's little curve balls to deal with and get through.

I need help. I am trying to find a home for one of my cats. The fights are getting ridiculous between the two. I've had my senior for 6 years and the new one for almost a year in March. I am trying to post the young one but facebook's standards refuse to allow me to "sell" an animal. I am asking for a rehoming fee, but only to ensure she goes to someone who is willing to care for her. She comes with food, shes fixed, she has her shots, she comes with a litter box, toys and a new tub of litter. She just needs someone to love her, and I don't wanna send her back to the humane society. I just cant. And it kills me to even be doing this, as I believe once you adopt an animal you adopt.it for the rest of their lives. But I don't want either of them to get hurt.
Shes challenging my senior. Please help.

Took the kittens into the vet to get fixed this morning. It always stresses me out to have them put under but the vet said only Meghan would be anesthetized. For the boys now they sedate and do a local. House is so empty without them ricocheting off the walls.
