This is me getting the stink eye bc I wanted her to come inside so we could go skiing. She loves the rain and water in general. We do a little fountain outside for her in the summer but she misses it in the winter so we will run the bath tub at a trickle for her for a few minutes everyday and she trips out. It was in the 40’s in town the past couple of days so she just sits by the door wanting to be out all the time

Same. Doesn’t mind if it runs over her head first either. Still find her sleeping in the bathroom sink once in awhile too.

My cat drinks out of the toilet if you leave the lid open.

GG is the same way, any time there is rain she wants out on the deck and she sits under the patio furniture.

Our cat drinks out of the toilet and then turns around and pisses in it. Sometimes she’ll just walk in the bathroom and piss in the toilet. If the lid is closed she’ll piss in the sink

My Bengal, Bones the first, loved water. He’d go out at first hint of rain and come home soaking wet. The real reason is that it makes it easier to hunt. It covers noise and smell so they lie in wait where there prey is.

The other thing he’d do is always go out at sunset.

He was basically a wild animal.

Thanks for that bit of cat knowledge. It totally makes sense and I feel the exact same way after being a dog person my adult life- my dog is my bro, the cat is a wild beast living in my house

Riser, if your animals drink out of a toilet please do not use any of those cleaning products you put in the tank as that shit can kill them.

Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

Good man, was more of a public service announcement.
So Freya is totally good with Bjorn after 11 days. TG wants nothing to do with another dog in her life and the Baby Skye is very interested but still unsure.

It likes well drained rocky/light packed soil, heat and neglect. Too much water/shade will cause it to mildew.

If you've got those conditions you're golden.
