also we got a new kitten

his name is Steven, and he has integrated very well into the family.

mostly he just wants to play and steal bread off the counter and sneak attack people

I'm not a fan of people names for pets, that's just for mine.

Having said that, Cat Stevens is pretty crafty and I like it. I could see Stevie Wondercat too.

^^ chubs looks rather unimpressed...

Ugly got his partial lion cut over the weekend. We're getting better at it but thank jeebus he's patient cause it's still a solid 20 minute battle to shear the fucker. After a bath, meaning he's very ornery. Ms Boissal left his chest poof and tail plume in place, everything else is quite short. We kinda gave up with the legs as he was over it at the end and howling like an angry tiger. Overall he doesn't look any worse than he would if we had a professional do it, and he certainly is more pleasant to the touch.
He brings less shit in the house now, or I should say he brings in fewer large wood chips. His ability to cover himself in dirt and deposit it on our bed is still unmatched.
