They build some nice stuff for teh kitty's
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

My wife works at a local animal shelter and a few days ago she brought a young cat into our house who we were told was feral and found on a local reserve.

He is clearly a killer and will be with us for a few weeks until his nuggets get cut off and he can go up for adoption.

He’s segregated in the spare room currently, so we go spend time with him throughout the day. After work I came in to find that he had thrown up his lunch and had some runny bum.
Once I’d cleaned his litter and the barf, I sat down and started scratching his tummy. He rolled on his side and as a scratched, it made a funny noise. Not sure if it came from his stomach or intestines , but it was between his ribs and pelvis and felt/sounded like corrugated cardboard. WTF is that? I sent a video to my wife, and I’ll try to post it here as well.

Shit, our Freya was supposedly feral as a kitten, but not for 3-4 months before we adopted her and there was no way she came out of hiding to be picked up for the first month.

Oh yeah, there’s no way he’s feral. He had a home or someone that cared about him. He’s just so starved for attention right now. He will make someone an amazing cat.

He's probably having issues with a change in diet. See if you can get him to eat some plain canned pumpkin. When I got the M series kittens their guts were seriously screwed up. I had pudding poo for months until I found something that worked for them. I went with this and haven't had any problems since:

Funny thing is I tried another Blue Buffalo product that was supposed to be for sensitive stomachs and that didn't work at all. I think the above recipe works because it has no grain which is why I chose it not for the weight control issue.

We’re feeding him the same food he was getting at the shelter. Wifey brought home some fortiflora for him, so hopefully that helps his system. The more we talked about the noise I could heat coming from him, the more I think it was his intestines gurgling. So hopefully the fortiflora helps that too.

Sounds like stomach upsets, good flora will help.

I have given probiotics to my gang when needed.

We give fortiflora to the dog when her belly is upset, but our cats have never gotten it.

Waylon had a good poop this afternoon.

I wasn't sure if this should go in the dog or the cat stoke thread. I chose this one. Milo, the dog, sitting on his blanket on the cat in his bed.

Got this for the twins. I haven't decided if they're pissed, or confused.

I have a big, old (14 years?) Norwegian forest cat that loves the dog door. I’m sitting here having coffee this morning when I see him come in to eat. I notice he has something in his mouth that he casually lays down so that he can enjoy his breakfast. It is a fully alive rat the size of a squirrel. Rodeo ensues with me chasing a rat all over the house while kitty is greatly entertained.
