    Your hit list

Summer's here, and the living is sleazy...

So where do you NEED to ski, that you haven't? No long lists, just pick the two or three that are next on your list of places that you'll get to when it's possible.

I'm really hoping to ski Washington State (Crystal/Baker) before much longer, and every year it seems I plan to figure out a way to get there and don't. I love PNW snowpacks, and from what I've seen there are definitely some cool lines in Washington State.
Also (confession time) I'm an Alta/Bird virgin, so I need to get to those places soon, too. No explanation required.

Every year I tell my self where I want to go that i havent been, and every year I go someplace new, that I never thought I would have ended up there at the beging of the season, so Im not going to make any claims about trying new areas yet. But Here is a open invite to anyone that wants a guided tour of Baker, just drop me a email a few weeks before hand, and make sure you got avy gear and some backcoutnry skills, and Ill make sure you find te goods.

Dex -- your hit list is very similar to mine:

    PNW: Baker/Alpental/Crystal/Stevens
And although I've hit Alta, I've still never been to the Bird. So instead of the Alta/Bird combo...I need to hit the Solitude/Bird combo....hear many a great thing about the flatlands of Solitude

    1.) Niseko - Japan

    2.) Alta / Snowbird - USA

    3.) Zermatt- Switzerland.

Number one is going to be conquered in 2005, the others are goals for 2006 and 2007.

I hope to do some skiing in the Mineral King valley and visit TPR mid-winter.

Revisiting Jackson Hole and SLC would be nice.

I aim to spend a bit more time in my favourite European spots, La Grave and Alpe d'Huez and I'd also like to hit Jackson Hole and St Sorlin d'Arves this winter.

Odin, why Norway...and what part? I have a friend who has a place in Norway and is always asking us to go there. Just curious why this makes your big list. Maybe it should be on mine!

I'm going back to Tahoe for the first time in over 2 years and can't wait for that.

Also hope to get to Utah for at least a week while I am there and go to the LCC.

    Only 6 months to go!!

Saw this line in the La Sals this spring (dunno the peak, the access, logistics etc...) that is as far as I'm concerned THE LINE there. Hopefully next year.
It is a long way out but I think Spring 06 = Russia (I am slowly chipping away at my wife's defenses over this trip, she's currently adamantly opposed)

I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

    Never been to Whistler.
Always wanted to go to Jackson Hole
Dying to go ride the Alps
One of these Labor Days will go to Chile/Argentina (great article in yesterdays LA Times Travel section about skiing in Argentina)

Anyone ever skied the Dolomites? I read an article years ago where you ski alllll day long and on your way down you stop to eat at one fabulous Italian restaurant after another in one quaint village after another. I'd love to do the breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner run someday.

Get in on the corporate pass deal that Arty50 is putting together and ride on up with Snowjob and myself. We'll proably be heading up 2 or 3 weekends of each month during the season. You'll pay it off in six days of skiing.
