FS: Sick Toyota Taco boat rack in Boise, ID

Yes, I said sick in the title. Here's my craigslist ad:

    http://boise.craigslist.org/boa/753850035.html

All the info is there. I'm asking $500 on cl but would take $400 from mags. My buddy and I put a lot of time into this rack. It's burley and will take years of hammering on.

I just don't use it anymore and drive around with it. It's a pain in the ass to take the shell on and off with the rack. Just the topper isn't so back and I would like to be able for just my wife and I to be able to remove the topper by ourselves for projects around the house.

    Here's a pic:

    1) How much does that beast weigh?

    2) Why did you quit boating?

Never weighed it. Prolly 250-300 lbs. Maybe get 1 to 2 mpg less but no ill effect other than that. I think it's mostly wind resistance of the rack.

Been riding a lot...tired of driving 2-3 hours to paddle when the trailhead is less than a quarter mile from my house. Didn't quit, just cut back a bit.

Is this Schofield's handy-work? I haven't seen that guy in forever...

That's a pretty sweet Bimmer pickup you got there.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

I'd give ya a grand if ya throw in the truck. Nice rack though, can you carry bikes on the side like this?

I'd buy it if I could muster up the corn for a taco and a trip to taterland.

Lawn chairs yes, bikes...not yet. I don't need it but like it. If I keep it, bike racks for sure.

Be able for joust your wife?
That's like a lingo mix of OBernhard Franz and the Grangeville hillbillies.
You still gotta joust for a woman's honor up there in Spudville?

Maybe this time we'll actually get a little crazy.
There's a new bar just down the street from the factory full of naked women.

Well, they gotta make naked wimmin somewhere. Luckily, that hasn't been outsourced yet.

I'm not so sure about that. I saw a bunch of the new Argentine models arriving in Aspen last week and the quality looked good!

    Hello Friends.
Talked to my buddy that owns the Tacoma, and he's strapped for cash right now. hasn't been working. But from what I remember, seeing this rack, it's a sick setup.
