    Sun Valley Lunch Break

It's not a hog, but it was a pretty damn nice way to spend my lunch break yesterday. The Wood River has been on fire lately with Green Drakes, Pink Alberts and Stone Flies. This weekend my wife finally caught a fish that took her into her reel. It was pretty cool to see her get so excited about fishing!

Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't
help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...

Nice! Still not much dryfly action around here - I've been having better luck under the surface with nymphs and buggers. It's starting to come around though... (I'm also going after browns, primarily)

    G. Gordon - Great looking fish and even better to hear that your are getting your wife psyched about fishing. I'm working the same angle here. She's actually taking a casting class tomorrow morning. With any luck, she'll in no time be as addicted as me.

Yesterday "down on the creek." It's really prime-time in the Sun Valley area.

Still a little green in the hills. Won't last much longer.

Awesome day on Silver Creek. Tricos are here and the trout go stupid for them. A nice 14 inch fattie. I gotta get me one of those nets with the shallow bag.
