    Snowshoe MX pics

Hev, you were asking about the MX course. Found these today, so I figured I'd post the link.

DH course...pictures don't show how muddy it really was.

Honda bikes have a continuously variable transmission, and I dont believe they have a chain. MBA ran an article on them a month or two ago. Mucho bad ass, very mucho.

It's a CVT? I thought it was shiftable. Well, couldn't tell anything by looking since their tent was completely closed to the public. I can tell you this: the bike is ugly as hell and the drivetrain was loud as hell. It sounded like someone 4 wheeling a Rascal.

Hev, to me the MX course is BIG! There are some lines in there that I will definitely try, but there are also some I will avoid. I'd rather prevent the following if at all possible.

I agree those hondas are ugly as hell, but I am curious t o see how there bike does. you got a pretty sweet pic of one really. I heard something about a "quart of oil" spilling out of it's "transmission" at sea otter. ha.

    love this pic:

That's Trevin Newfert (sp?). He's a semi-pro that races around here. We used to race at a tiny mountain in Ohio called Mickey's. They only have sport and expert, and the sport course lame, so I always raced expert there. Trevin, 2 other semi-pros and a pro (can't remember his name) showed up once because it was an off weekend on the NORBA circuit. Needless to say, I got my ass completely handed to me, but it was cool watching these guys race...got some good tips from them too.

Love it just love it. I believe that downhill course is bad-arse. I mean man I wish I was back in WV too rock a course like that. I mean playing in the sand is fun, but it is nothing like the good old fashioned muck I am used too. Love the pics, can't wait to ride at the Shoe again. Soon my son, soon.
A gay-rage full of toys. You can guess em.
