    NorCal is getting it

Don't have any pics, just because yesterday was pea soup, and I was expecting more of the same today.

But if you can, get out there today. Get out of town. Head up the coast. Cause it is clean and still picking up a hint of that NW.

Yesterday was way overhead, thick and square. This morning was head high plus, glassy and fun. Got to love when it all comes together in the summer to give you clean mid period overhead surf.

i am so f-ing baffled by NorCal surf reports. how the f do you know it's good now? i heard from a buddy that OB was awesome this AM...then i go look at the 5 sites i check religiously and the reports look no different than anything else. actually look worse than they have given the consistent south there has been recently.

Do not trust what you read on the internet. You need to just go out there snd see for yourself.

The south was consistent over a period, but it was not providing consistent sets in NorCal last week. Sure, if you had a few hours, you could get a great session. Monday, the surf was consistently way overhead. If you took a digger, you had some work to do to get back out. Sure it was only 11-12 periods, but it had more thump than any S I've had a chance to get into this summer.

Yesterday morning the NW was decent in the AM down south. Consistant 3-5 is not a bad way to start the morning, especially with no one out. I checked it after work and it had faded.

Much smaller today, but who cares. Glassy, chest high and 80 plus degrees on the water. Ah, summertime (when it actually feels like summer)
