A 14 year old Bend kid got his arm cut off when a boat ran him over. Vibes to him and his family, the article says they're trying to reattach the arm.
Eyewitness account
He was in a line of about 20 surfers. Suddenly a friend appeared next to him, ghost white, saying he was almost hit by a boat. The surfer told Brewer, "I could feel the prop go over my legs."
Moments later, there was yelling.
"I heard someone scream 'oh my god!' and I started paddling toward him," Brewer said.
He saw two other surfers trying to get Ortega onto a board and onto shore. Then "Basically, everybody hit the beach."

Hopefully they will be able to put the arm back on. That really sucks.
