WTF?! We love you GT40! Hope you're doing ok. You're a great guy, and it was my pleasure to meet you at Mt Hood this year. Thanks for having me, driving me, getting me in our neighbor's camp site, etc... You've thrown good things around you, they'll come back at you.

An awesome man whom I love and respect. I'm proud to call him my friend because, quite frankly, few guys his age would even associate with me or understand why I live the way I do. I'm with you , GT.

Broadcasting good vibes. I recall the thread on powdermag.com where GT spelled out Mormon doctrine without posturing or pretense. Absolute class. Hope we meet on the slopes one day soon.

GT40 and the rest of the family: you guys are all true maggots. If there is anything you think I can do, don't hesitate to ask. I've never met any of you, but just the amount of stoke you have all contributed amounts to a lot more than you might think. You all have good things coming, and I hope you get them.

What i'm trying to say is, I'm here for you, and, even though I'm an atheist/borderline agnostic (maybe), I'll pray to the powers that be. It can't hurt... and I believe firmly in Ullr, so I'll pray to him as well. He looks after the skiers. Good luck to all of you.

I posted earlier on pmag, but I just wanted to follow up. I've only met ya once for a few days this year at the summit, but you show your incredible love of life, fatherhood, and the stoke so greatly. You are what I hope to be for my children and friends some day. Hoping nothing but the best for the Meat's family. I can't wait to hear how things turned out for the best in a few months (edit) because you certainly deserve the best in life.

    Thanks everybody.

I know this means a lot to GT.

It means a lot to me.

If and when I know something I'll share it, or even better, maybe GT will.

    thanks, j

If only a small part of the love and stoke that GT has put out to everyone gets back to him he can't lose. Very glad to have met and skied with you GT.
In drove this drunken madman and stopped on a dime! Unfortunately the dime was in Mr. Rococo's pocket!

meat- i too have been going through hell and back again w/ my dad (you may have missed the thread on pmag b/c it was in another thread about truth's dog) in the last month. he's on a very slow path to recovery now, but it's all still very tenuous. i hope all best for you and your family. there's nothing like family.

For someone I’ve never met, GT40 gets my utmost respect. His love of life is an example for all of us. Doctor Mike, your good people. If everyone had half the heart you do, the world would be a better place. Keep your head up meats family, the karma wheel will swing your way. Sending my thoughts and prayers.

GT's not feeling very well, but he is feeling better. Things are improving. He hasn't seen any of these posts yet, but I'm sure they'll cheer him up when he does. He may not be on the board for a little while, but I'm sure we'll be seeing him in a liftline, at a movie premier, or waist deep in powder soon enough.

    thanks, j

GT is one of those people that you run accross in life and instantly wish there were more of on this planet. An amazing person that gives and asks little in return. I still owe you for the hookup last May. Get well soon Mike.
