    Best Free Email? (NSR)

So I just defended, and I'm about to lose my grad schol email address. I'm in the market for a new email account, and I'm wondering what you all think is the best service. I'd ideally like it to be free, but I can see paying a small fee for extra space. What I really care about is not having an inbox full of spam, like my old Hotmail account.

So what do you guys/gals suggest?
    Space limitations?
Webmail access for internet cafe use while travelling?
    Cool organizations/non profits?

    Bueller?

I'd recomend Yahoo over Hotmail...junk filter works better and it isn't part of microsoft......no compatability with msn messanger though .. more email storage than some.

go for yahoo dude. i had a hotmail account for like 3 years and then one day i went and hasseled the computer geeks that were arguing about something in one of their chat rooms and i had my account deleted because of it

so i lost all my fackin addresses and old mail and had to create a new account, which isnt a lot of work but its a pain in the ass.

Yeah, hotmail sucks. I use it, and the only reason I still do is because I've had the account for 5 years and it's on all my business cards (when you work freelance, it's good to have your contact info constant)

The biggest problem is that they automatically open the attatchments, which makes you more vulnerable to viruses. I've gotten screwed by them before this way.

Im on yahoo and I even have AOL at home and I HATE it. I can access my aol here at work, but I still use yahoo.

The wife likes aol, so the foot has been put down.

edit: in 4 month, not one spam mail (except for powmag).

I used that for last years Alta Mini, but yahoo is still better. That is why this year Im at buzzworthyskiatyahoodotcom for the mini Feb-5-10.

Also got a ton of spam from Skiutah on that email, which is understandable, but annoying.

    My 2 cents
