there is an open-house tonight at the YES program center in south boston at 412 mass ave, starting at 7pm. they're right off the orange line, 50 yards from the mass ave stop. if anyone in the boston-area is looking for a great volunteer opportunity, this could be something worth checking out. YES will also have a booth at the ski expo, november 13th-16th.

YES is great organization, and is always looking for volunteers who love the outdoors and who enjoy working with kids. i worked with them last season and although i've moved away from the bean i thought i'd pass along information about this worthy endeavor. good people, and a great way to spread the love of wintersports and the outdoors.
