    bozeman area july 4th. 5th and 6th

    i am going to be in the area for the weekend and am looking for some possible people to boat with. im up for anything and would love to hit big timber. also needing some mellower class 3 for the girlfriend?

    just trying to check out the area before i move.

    There will probably be a large junkshow at Big Timber, with hot weather and perfect flows. If you go, DRIVE SLOW on the dirt roads, turn down your music when you see the gate, and leave the gate how you found it. The Gallatin would probably be good for the girlfriend.

    thanks hopefully i will be able to get in with a crew. is there some good camping pretty close?

    There is a free national forest campground at the takeout. Some Missoula folks might be headed that way, but too soon to call it.

    No...not really. Most Montana boaters can't work a computer.

    I can't commit yet but I would probably be down to meet up with you to hit it up. I don't know the run really well but am another person for safety. Have you been on it before?
