    Thumbs up American Splendour!

    Yes! A great movie.

Also as a back story I recommend the documentary upon R. Crumb himself, as that man happens to be highly um....... see the documentary.

Note: There may have already been a thread upon this but I am catching up on movies here.

I loved Crumb, loved Ghost World even more, and Bad Santa even more...

But, not a big fan of American Splendor and I really don't see the tie to Crumb.

YC, I love your butt, but Harvey wouldn't be a 15 minute guy if it wasn't for RC.

Crumb and his wife have been doing collaborative cartoons in the New Yorker for the past year or so. There was one about a week or two ago regarding Cannes. They live in the south of France. They are very neurotic.

Yes, I read the New Yorker and read the Crumb cartoons. I love the Cannes one in the last issue (the one before the Fiction double), love their whole fish out of water thing.
