thanks guys!
I've been pushing the exercises and icing it. The pain seems to get better but the swelling looks the same every morning. 3 days ago I had my first doc visit after surgery. He had to drain some liquid from my knee and let me tell you, most painful thing that has ever happened. He like jammed the needle in with a hard swing and then get pushing it further while massaging my knee cap to push the fluids out. I was yelling like a little bitch lol. But that was the only real big difference i've seen in the swelling (most swelling is above my knee cap and a little on the outside of the knee).
As far as the type of ACL reconstructive surgery, it was the patellar autograft. Doctor said it was best way. Im dying to sleep without the brace but Im too scared to screw up my knee after all this trouble.
My knee bending is getting a bit better. I think Im around 35-40 degrees but still stuggling. My doctor never gave me a CPM machine or watever. All I got was the damn cooler which broke on the second day anyways and leaked water all over my knee. Ive benn icing ever since.
I went out for the first day today, my friend took me out to get some pizza and chill out. Got baked and relaxed, watched pulp fiction but overall it was pretty uncomfortable for my knee. Id rather just stay at home until Im semi functional. Hopefully by my Bday.
Anyone got a approximate timeline for walking without crutches after ACL Reconstruction via patellar autograft?

Hoep you guys watch the game tomorrow. Its gonna be sick.
