shooting & skiing in Japan in Feb, need advice

    Hey,
I'm going to Japan in Feb with a bunch of buddies to ski and shoot, will stay 1 - 2 months. Looking for advice on which resorts to hit (mainly Hokkaido but maybe one or two in Honshu). I have lived in Japan before (but never been to Hokkaido) and speak fluent Japanese, don't mind going ghetto. Would also be keen to hook up with some local rippers (Japanese or Gaijin) while I'm there. Any advice would be appreciated. Oh yeah, keen to get away from the mainstream resorts - if I can find somewhere with less foreigners and more the real Japan thing going on that's all good.
Any advice from you TGRers out there? Cheers, Patrick

Stay at Fattwins's place. Ski deep powder, film it.

Hokkaido will be great for filming shorter pillow lines but if your looking to film some bigger stuff your going to have to spend the majority of your time on Honshu. Big lines in Hokkaido are few and far between. There's plenty of Japan mags on here, I'm sure they can point in the right direction depending on what you want to film.

Why are his only two posts re-words of poorly thought out and rushed questions?

TGRers?! I think one should know the term before one asks for advice, no? In exchange for naked pictures of your sister/GF etc. I will tell you that you are probably better of shooting in Nagano and staying in Fattwins lodge.

I hope your 日本語 is better than your English.

Hokkaido: Teine, Rusutsu, Niseko + Moiwa, Asahidake.

Honshu. Well, you already lived here and are ペラペラ so know them anyways right?
