You sir, couldn't be more correct. I checked my info from a reputable source (the cleanest carny in the lot), and these are in fact the extremely rare American High Plains Elephants, found in very few places throughout our great country. The one in front was caught down in Four Mile on Thursday. He had been picking climbers off Bob's Rock and stealing their wallets (wicked gambling addiction, this one has...), so the forest service wanted him 'removed.' Took my 5 and 3yr old to a Circus for their first time, they had a blast! It was so fun watching the reactions on their face. I sure kept my eye on the elephants though when we were able to go look at them. It would suck to have a few thousands pounds of pend up frustration cut loose on you and your kids.
