    Haha

I’m sick of barboza. He’s a working stiff.

Kevin lee the man and I should have wagered

lol yeah I suck at picking winner & losers...Lee looked strong and definitely filled in some holes, we'll see how much of that was a result of Barbasoa being a "stiff" in Lee's next fight (Alvarez?).

Edgar/Swanson fight was good too, good to see Frankie win in NJ.

The UFC has just announced the card for July 28 Fight Night in Calgary.
    Jose Aldo vs Jeremy Stephens
    Alexis Davis vs Katlyn Chookagian
    Randa Markos vs Nina Ansaroff
    Dustin Ortiz vs Matheus Nicolau
    Gadzhimurad Antigulov vs Ion Cutelaba
    Hakeem Dawodu vs Austin Arnett
    Jordan Mein vs Alex Morono
    John Makdessi vs Ross Pearson
    Kajan Johnson vs Islam Makhchev

Main event still TBD. Co-main should be a barn burner. Other than that, it's not a stellar card. There will be a few interesting fights, but nothing that we need to go see live.
We only went and saw the UFC 149 because I managed to get box seats for it. I don't think that is happening this time.

    Motherfucking fight week suckas!!!!!!!!!!!!

DD who ya got? I got Nunes for sure, Gastelum vs Souza should be a war and can't wait to see Derns fine ass rolling around with Amanda Cooper.

Jui Jitsu was the big winner on the Bellator card this weekend, 5 subs on one card...crazy. Looking forward to American Gangster vs Fedor, Chael & Fedor should have some interesting press conferences.

Yeah I fucked up, no UFC fights this weekend...some good boxing though, that little fucker Ryan Garcia got his 13th win & called out Tank Davis again. Who in my opinion will fucking dismantle Garcia, but they should still fight no matter what...

Invite FC 29 Friday night, Kaufman chokes out Lehner for the 135lb title. Only chick besides Cyborg to hold both titles

Damn Belfort got knocked the fuck out!

I think the Bellator card tonight might be better than the UFC card.

Fuck, what happened on the Bellator card? 11 finishes on the UFC card, great night of fights for sure...Machida knocking out Vitor with a old school karate front kick was insane, end of an era

Bader KO’d King Mo in about 30 seconds.

hmmmmm, not sure about that Nunes/Pennington fight....

Pennington tells corner i'm done after the fourth after gettting her face smashed in/broken nose...corner says, no, you're good, get back out there...

wtf? isn't the corner supposed to protect the fighter from certain devastating further injury?

Pennington goes back out and falls on her sword, further face smashing in, certainly more nose/face damage.

After watching the Josh Emmett interview on MMA hour and hearing about all the damage he sustained to his orbital and crucial eye/face nerves...that Pennington scenario makes me cringe.

Rocky should fire the whole lot of 'em and stack a new team with pros who actually look out for her best interest.

Yeah, I know, it's the hurt bizz, but still...

    IMO.

Nunes; sound victory, clearly outclassed Rocky...but seemed like her punches didn't have the same accuracy and vicious snap as in the Tate and Rousy fights. Awesome legs kicks but seemed to ease off the throttle as the fight progressed.

Actually I think it was like 15 seconds
Chiek Kongo unsurprisingly knocked out some fat white guy with a mean hook halfway through the first
Aaron Pico TKO'd his opponent - basically on a wicked body shot -about a minute into the fight
    and
Jon Fitch got his ass beat for the first two rounds but somehow came back to win a decision

I didn’t see that fight but your description reminds of the Chris Leben/Uriah Hall fight. Can’t find the. Cruel coverage but I remember seeing Leben stumble away and you could hear him say “I’m done, I’m going home”

Sick and tired of these guys fighting in weight classes that are too low or otherwise fucking around and keep missing weight. They gotta change the structure, change the rules or both.

As GSP says; "You could do (more weight classes), or you could the weigh-in over several days so everyone will stay in their weight class,” St-Pierre said. “30 days before, every week you have to weigh-in, on the day of the fight you have to weigh in. That would make sense. It’s always been an issue and it is what it is.”

I know Dana said they're gonna scrap the early weigh ins but even after that, I think they should have a two strike rule. Miss weight twice and you get bumped up to the next weight class.

^^I like this idea for sure....

Middleweight fight is on just not for the title, in my opinion it doesn't matter because Whittaker will win no matter what. Romero cardio will be shot by the 3rd round, he looked like death yesterday. Should be a good night of fights though, stoked!

Haven’t watched in a while. Rainy day. Anyone have a link they’d care to share? Hoping to see Covington get destroyed

wow what a fucking great night of fights...Whittaker vs Romero is a fight of the year contender for sure, insane amount of heart & skill for 25 minutes.

Say what you want about Covington but the dude can fight, not sure he beats Woodley but we gonna find out in November.

Overreem getting finished again was sad to see, dude needs to walk away before he is slurring his words...but Blades is legit, getting better every fight.

    Agreed.

Also; happy to see Holly hop back aboard the win train. And what about those heavyweights Coulter and De La Rocha slugging it out? It was insane that neither of them dropped with those cannon shots that were fired and landed...wow...granite chins.

Even more respect and props to Whittaker...

Fought 4.5 rounds with broken money maker right hand...unfathomable...

Like not just the sheer physical guts and determination to make it through the fight but imagine that mental game of once again knowing you're severely physically compromsied and facing that dynamite handed Romero and not wilting under the huge stress...for 4.5 rounds!

    Tough as nails.
