... I'm open to other suggestions as well. I want to hit something fairly close and straightforward so I can get back to Boulder for work by the afternoon.
Anyone interested in heading up?

Maybe interested for Friday...
Some unsolicited beta: I skied this last Tuesday. Left the summer parking lot at 6:00, skied down at 9:15. Grizzly SNOTEL was 26 degress for a min the night before and the couloir was still really soft. Get an early start !
Depending on work, I may be interested for Friday.

SEAKR, how was it? Any runnels or debris?
I checked my calendar again, and I could go Thursday but not Friday...

I might be down.
Leave Boulder at 3am'ish? Would be down for Friday morning ... Lemme know.
Thanks for the responses -- it looks like tomorrow is a go. And thanks for the tip about timing -- yeah, I've been up in Stevens Gulch before around 9:00 a.m. (in early May) and actually watched slides come down that face (South Paw, not Dead Dog, but similar). It definitely heats up fast.
Have a great time. The run was in very good shape with very little runnel and Avy debris. There is plenty of rockfall for sure so keep an eye out for edge rippers lurking in the snow on the apron.
