Would this be possible?
Who would oversee it...congress, Senate, (impeachment process?)
IE: Could Obama choose Clinton, and then change his mind post election, when she and Bill try and shanghai the office?
Does anyone know the protocol?

Forum Cross Pollinator, gratuitously strident
ask for resignation?
Its not that I suck at spelling, its that I just don't care
Seems thre is no presedent to fire or remove a Vice President ( President of the Senate)
Only two have stopped being VP short of Death.
Spiro Agnew resigned due to a Criminal investigation
John C. Calhoun resigned on December 28, 1832 to take a seat in the Senate, having been chosen to fill a vacancy.
Once you are VP you stay VP. It appears there have been some serious dust-ups between POTUS And VPOTUS

If some of the best times of my life were skiing the UP in -40 wind chill with nothing but jeans, cotton long johns and a wine flask to keep warm while sleeping in the back of my dad's van... does that make me old school?
"REHAB SAVAGE, REHAB!!!"
What MTT said.
Bear in mind that before the process was changed to allow a pres/veep ticket, the veep was the runner up. Naturally, there's no process for the pres to dump his closest rival.
