Visiting Cape Code next week. Can anybody recommend a decent break for an inlander that surfs on rare occasions? Also need to know where I can rent a board. Thanks.

Look up Little Overhead surf shop in Eastham. Frawly will rent you a board. Tell him willywhit says aloha.Check out the surf webcam on the BeachComber site.
LaCounts is prob the best wave for fun waves,or Whitecrest Beach.
Pump House in Orleans is a good shop, too. Don't go to Nauset Sports.
Have fun.
The Outer Cape Rawks
Coast Guard Beach, too. and Marconi.
the water's kinda cold, get a shorty at Job Lot for $40 bucks , prob even less.

Bacon tastes good. Pork chops taste goood.
Thanks willy.
coast guard beach is best at low tide, but usually pretty flat
I was at Marconi Beach yesterday. It can get pretty flat too and your best bet there is to hit it either when the tide is going in or coming out. They weren't charging for parking yesterday but that could change in a few days. Waves are quite good also at Nauset Light Beach in Eastham. I find the waves there to a little more consistent than at Coast Guard or Marconi. Get there early though since the parking lot is small and fills up very quickly. Water is getting warm. I don't think you need a full steamer.
heading down for the wacky 4th w/e. anybuddy else ?
